Hallo!

Who doesn’t love music? I’m sure all of us do!

When I was living in Germany, I figured that I should listen to some German songs. Not to learn the language, because I was told that learning German from songs is a bad idea, but to just get myself familiarize with the language. While I cannot say that I have a particular favourite song, I did find some favourite singers that I enjoyed listening to.

So I’ve put up a list of German singers that I love. For me, these singers have managed to attract me to listen closely to their songs, enjoyed it and even danced to it!

1) LEA

I had to start the list with LEA. When it comes to songs, the voice of the singer always attracts me to listen more to the songs. For me, Lea’s melancholic voice allows me to really feel the pain that she’s trying to convey in her songs. My favourite song by LEA is Lieber Allein.

2) Adel Tawil

I think most of Adel Tawil’s songs have deep meanings to it that I think worth listening. While most of the songs out there are about girls and love, his songs do not focus on that. In fact, one of my favourite song by Adel Tawil is Eine Welt Eine Heimat, which means One World One Home. Guess what the song is about? Yes, peace!

3) Mike Singer

And who doesn’t love Mike Singer? I bet most high school girls are having a crush on him. Mike Singer is a German pop singer and songwriter. His songs are all catchy and you can’t help but dance along. My favourite song by him is Tinderella.

So there you have it – 3 German singers that I love! If you are ever interested in listening to some German songs, do check them out and let me know what you think.

  1. I love Adel Tawil too! I kinda see as the foreshadowing of what Zayn Malik will become (if he does everything right and don’t do anything regrettable) based on their similar history.

Other than German pop, what kind of other songs you listen to?

    1. Yeay!! I do listen to some Kpop sometimes but recently I listen to a lot of Sasha Sloan’s songs. You should check it out too 😀
