Sabah has always been our first choice when it comes to a family trip in Malaysia. We love the beaches and the islands, not to mention the seafood we get to eat.

During my semester break this May, my family went on a trip to Sabah. It has been a long time since we all got together so we wanted to spend some quality time together. It’s not often that my siblings and I had the same semester break.

We never miss the island hopping whenever we are here in Sabah! This time we only visited Pulau Manukan and Pulau Mamutik. Although it was only 2 islands, we had so much fun since we had more time on the islands to enjoy snorkeling and swimming in the sea!

Other highlights from the trip was the Desa Cattle Dairy Farm, Rabbit Village and Tanjung Aru Beach,

Here are some highlights from my 6 days trip and I hope it will inspire you to visit Sabah!

Highlights from the 6 days trip to Sabah!

Who doesn’t love a sunset by the beach?
Stopped by at Perdana Park to watch the water fountain.
Nothing feels as calming as the blue sea!
And the best part is you get to snorkel and see different fishes
Or, you can just waddle near the beach and get sunburn!
Hoping to see the peak of the Mount Kinabalu but all I see was thick clouds. But I like clouds too so I’m not complaining!
Cow viewing at Desa Cattle Dairy Farm
One cup wasn’t enough!
It’s cute how they cuddle together, avoiding the sun .
There’s a small vineyard at the Rabbit Village too! Wine lovers anyone?

Whether you are looking for the ultimate destination for a short family trip or just a short solo getaway, look no further than Sabah!

I wouldn’t mind spending my time lazing on the beaches in sabah!
